"Jazz does not belong to one race or culture.
It's a gift that America gave the world."
- Ahmad Alaadeen

Welcome to East End Jazz

Jazz is our American heritage – a culture, an art form, and a tradition. East End Jazz, a woman-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, cultivates a love for jazz through a wide range of learning opportunities. Our skill-building workshops and creative exploration programs empower and inspire participants of all ages on the East End of Long Island and New York City.

Mission

East End Jazz is dedicated to educating, entertaining, and inspiring a community of children, parents, students, teachers and audience members through live jazz performance and education. We believe that the original American music form of jazz is a powerful medium for bringing people together and fostering creativity and self-expression. We are committed to closing the gap in music education by providing year-round musical, educational, and cultural programs to schools, community centers, organizations, corporations and families from diverse backgrounds.

Help Us

"Your gift to East End Jazz empowers us to transform lives through the power and legacy of jazz, providing access, educational opportunities, and a vibrant community. Thank you!"

Values

East End Jazz views jazz as an integral part of our heritage - a living culture, tradition, and art form. We believe that everyone benefits from creative expression, regardless of age or background. Our programs, concerts, and workshops provide a safe and supportive environment for children, students, and people of all ages to explore their creativity and experience the joy of jazz.
